This Boy Needs Care
Constant Care to His Feeble-Minded Parents, But Cannot Get Into Institution
Both the parents of the eleven-year-old boy, shown in the accompanying picture on the lap of his mother, are feeble-minded. This boy is epileptic and low grade feeble-minded. The mother is almost totally deaf.
The boy falls from his chair, unless watched, cannot eat without help and must be cared for like a baby.
In December, 1912, a Washington County physician filled out a blank for

While he is not abused and although he is given good care as it is possible for his feeble-minded parents to give him, he is a constant drain upon their slender resources and greatly increases their problem of livelihood, handicapped as they are by their own mental weakness.
